- A very large fire tore through a semi-truck carrying meat on the 5 Freeway on Wednesday afternoon, sending thick plumes of black smoke into the sky and causing heavy traffic delays.

First responders were pissed because in their haste to leave the station, they forgot to grab the A-1.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a massive meat fire before and I grew up in 70s. Is this a historical event?
Because the meat is all GMO and processed with the Pacific hormones additives or preservatives which are very volatile in certain situation if you eat enough of it that humans will be next
So this is why my side of the freeway was rubber necking... you people are so annoying, just drive!
CalTrans needs to add about a foot of concrete on top of the center wall so opposing traffic get see the wrecks on other side. We both know that would take a ten year study/ approval adding $7.5 million to project costs. CA is a damn joke.

I am confused the truck didnt catch on fire first , it says a very large fire tore through a semi. Like a wind caught it..if the truck had problems wouldnt it be a semi caught fire destroying contents or a semi carrying meat caught fire? Just asking.. A fire on the highway not truck on fire. Confused . Critical condition but will be ok , sitting up? Not what anyone would want to go through.. Glad he will make it .
